HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - An officer with Richmond's K-9 unit is now facing a felony charge following an incident involving nude pictures of a minor.

Henrico Police have charged Ronald Oaks with one count of taking indecent liberties with a child by a person in custodial or supervisory relationship, which is a class 6 felony.

According to Henrico Police, Oaks was assisting the band at Godwin High School on November 5. Afterwards, he offered to take his son and a 15-year-old girl to a nearby Wendy's restaurant during a break.

While in line, police say Oaks asked the 15-year-old if she had any nude pictures of herself on her cell phone. The victim said she did have pictures, but refused several times to show them.

We're told Oaks eventually convinced the victim to show him a number of pictures of herself in various states of undress.

The victim later told her mother, who then alerted police on November 8.
