Police seek suspect in Carytown hit-and-run

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Richmond police need the public's help to identify the a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash in the Carytown neighborhood.

Just before 2 a.m. on Sunday, a woman was crossing West Cary Street in the 1800 block when she was struck by a navy blue vehicle that did not stop.

Anyone who has any information about the incident or this vehicle is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000 or text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word "ITip" followed by your tip. Both methods are anonymous. Citizens can also call the Department's Hit and Run Unit directly at (804) 646-1369.

    Surveillance cameras captured someone opening fire at a gas station in Jasper. Police are looking for one of the people they said opened fire on Friday night, while the other is still in a hospital.
