Two armed with guns invade Chesterfield home

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - A violent home invasion in Chesterfield over the weekend and now one of the victims is speaking out about the two suspects on the run.

It happened on Saturday night around 11:00 p.m. in the 6600 block of Parliament Road. That's in Chesterfield near Chippenham Parkway and Wamsley Boulevard.

One of the victims tells us she thinks this was all a set up, that one of her sons' friends who was inside the home may have been the target.

A birthday celebration was in full swing, until things took a violent and frightening turn -- two guys with guns, dressed in all black, and wearing masks, stormed inside.

"It was really, really scary." So scary -- this victim didn't want her attackers to see her face.

"When you came into our home you made us feel uncomfortable. Right now, we do not feel safe at home," she added.

She says the two guys came into the house through the unlocked front door. She was in the back of the house.

"I looked into the living room and saw 2 guys, one had 2 handguns, one had one. And they laid people on the floor with guns pointed at them," says the victim.

Among the people forced to the floor: a 74-year-old man and the victim's adult son.

"They took the weapon and hit my son in the back of the head. A big, big blow to the back of his head," said the victim.

That victim says when she saw all this go down, she ran out the backdoor and hopped over several fences. She eventually went to a neighbors home and called 911.

The crooks ran and got away with money, jewelry and a cell phone. But they took much more than that from the woman and her family.

"I don't feel right. I feel violated. I just don't feel right. What if he killed everyone in the house. What if," she said.

The victim is speaking out hoping that someone will help find these two guys. If you know anything, call Crime Solvers at 748-0660.
