LOUISA, VA (WWBT) - The Louisa County Sheriff's Office is investigating a triple shooting that happened early Sunday morning. At 12:13 a.m., the Sheriff's office responded to the 5800 block of Buckner Road for a report of gunfire.

According to investigators, 23-year-old Devonne Robinson shot 31-year-old Carlos Anderson in the chest. Anderson returned fire, shooting Robinson. A 21-year-old woman nearby was also struck in the arm.

Deputies say a car, covered in blood, showed up at the University of Virginia Medical Center at 1:00 a.m., carrying one of the victims. A half hour later, another shooting victim arrived by helicopter.

The bystander was transported to VCU Medical Center by ambulance, where she was treated and released.

We're told Robinson and Anderson's injuries don't appear to be life threatening at this time.

The Louisa Sheriff's Office says criminal charges are pending.
