HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - Dr. William Ferrar, from Westham, is on the case of continuing bacterial infections of sinuses and lung since common colds began six weeks ago.
It is trouble when cold symptoms get worse after having initially improved.
The infections are hard to recognize as a complication because it happens less than 5% of the time.
Starting antibiotics to prevent this doesn't work. It is mandatory that you see your personal physician.
