Spotsylvania woman in jail after racking up debt on her father's credit card

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A Spotsylvania woman is in jail, accused of racking up more than 40 thousand dollars worth of debt on her elderly father's credit card.

The Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office got tipped off to Kimberly Sue Bell's alleged shopping spree, after a delivery driver reported the porch and sidewalk was covered with unopened packages.

When detectives told her father what was going on, he responded "Oh dear."

Bell is charged with fraud and elder abuse.
