CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - They are ugly and depending on where they are, downright embarrassing. Dr. David Boyd is helping his patients with cutaneous warts at Family Practice Specialists of Richmond.
They are caused by a virus and transmitted by skin to skin contact and are often seen in families.
They are often seen as thickened areas on fingers, palms, toes and soles of the feet.
A wart can be cared for in many ways and are often difficult to get rid of. See your doctor for a persistent wart. Avoid picking.
