Tea Party sending Mayor a bill

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The 'Occupy' Richmond group has been protesting here in Richmond for nearly three weeks. Now another group is blasting the Mayor and his treatment of these protestors.

The Richmond Tea Party is calling out Mayor Dwight Jones, saying he is giving 'Occupy' protesters special treatment.

According to the Times-Dispatch, the Tea Party says the 'Occupy' Richmond protesters have been using Kanawha Plaza illegally and free of charge. Their resolution is to send the mayor and invoice for $10,000.

They say it's for money they had to pay for tax day rallies held at the park for three years.

Mayor Dwight Jones is expected to visit the protesters today.
