Gov. seeks federal aid for damaged schools

LOUISA, VA (WWBT) - The Louisa County school board will meet Tuesday afternoon to discuss the new reports on the damage to the county's schools from the August earthquake.

No decision is expected to be made about what to do with the schools at the meeting.

Meanwhile, Governor McDonnell is asking for federal disaster aid for the damaged Louisa schools.

Engineers estimate the damage to the two schools impacted the most to be at $31 million.
