Homicide investigation in Henrico

HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - Police in Henrico are investigating the county's 14th homicide of the year.

At 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, officers responded to a suspicious death in the 2000 block of E. Nine Mile Road. 60-year-old Wanda N. Anauo was pronounced dead at the scene.

The caller, an acquaintance of Anauo, reported he had arrived at the residence and found her lying on the bed, unresponsive.

Henrico Police have confirmed the cause of death is homicide, but the manner isn't being released at this time.
