LOUISA, VA (WWBT) - Another aftershock shook Louisa Tuesday night.
The 2.3 magnitude quake rocked the area at 8:03. The epicenter was about 5 miles southwest of mineral.
Meanwhile, the Louisa Board of Supervisors is promising more help for homeowners hit by the earthquake.
It's passed the broadest tax relief program available for damaged homes allowed by law.
The board is also working on another source of revenue for the county — a meals tax.
They hope it will help off-set the enormous expense associated with the quake damage at the schools.
