Spending cut ideas due to Governor Monday

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT)-We should get a better idea this week on how much money will be spent or saved when it comes the state budget.

Governor Bob McDonnell is asking state agency heads to cut their budgets by a range of two-six percent.

Today is the Governor's deadline for agencies to submit their proposals.

McDonnell will use the ideas to put together a two-year budget in December.
