Police searching for Walgreens robber

RICHMOND, VA - The Richmond Police Department needs the public's help to identify a man in the surveillance video who robbed the Carytown Walgreens at gunpoint last week.

At approximately 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5, the man walked into the Walgreens at 3520 Ellwood Avenue and demanded money at gunpoint from an employee.

The robber is described as a black male, about 5'9 feet to 5'11 feet tall, weighing approximately 170 to 180 pounds and in his mid-20s. He was last seen wearing camouflage pants, a red jacket with lettering on the left breast pocket, white tennis shoes and a bandana across his face.

He left the store on foot heading north.
