RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Congregation members at a South Richmond church are chomping at the bit to clean vulgar graffiti off their church.
Southampton Baptist Church members showed up for their usual Sunday services yesterday only to find anti-semitic and racist graffiti spray-painted on the walls.
The church is now waiting for its insurance company to check out the damage before the cleanup can start.
One church member has already volunteered to use a pressure washer to clean it off.
Richmond police have launched an investigation to figure out who vandalized the church.
