HENRICO, VA (WWBT) -- On Saturday Henrico dedicated its newly renovated Fire Station No. 8 on Patterson Avenue.
The station is now twice as big and has better living quarters and fire equipment for its 13-person crew.
It also has a generator that can run the station for three days in case of a blackout.
The whole project cost around two millions dollars.
The fire house was originally built back in 1950.
