NRC to discuss impact on nuclear plant

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is meeting to discuss its report on the impact of a 5.8-magnitude earthquake at Dominion's North Anna Power Station.

Officials are scheduled to hold a public meeting Monday afternoon at the plant's nuclear information center in Mineral.

The commission's inspection team spent three weeks at the plant after the August 23rd earthquake.

Dominion says seismic vibrations caused the plant's two reactors.
