RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The 23rd annual 2nd Street Festival kicked off Saturday in Richmond's Historic Jackson Ward and will continue today.
Crowds came out to enjoy live music on four stages, delicious food, and shopping in the marketplace. There were also plenty of activities for children to enjoy too.
People we spoke with say the event is fun for the whole family.
"I ran up on two cousins I hadn't seen in two years and they came over here and hugged and kissed me," said Thomas Giles.
"it's really nice. It's nice to see everybody come together... Different vendors out here, different organizations out here," said Maegan Jones.
