Update: Man wanted in police chase caught

Update: Friday night, 40-year-old Jeffrey Lindemann of Arlington was arrested and charged with several crimes, including felony eluding police.

He'll be arraigned Monday morning.


RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Police are searching for a man who bailed out of a car Friday morning after a high-speed chase along Route 288. The pursuit ended near Broad Street, about 15 minutes after the car failed to pull over for a traffic stop in Chesterfield County.

Officers used stinger spikes to slow the car, which crossed the median strip and came to rest in the opposite lanes just after 4 a.m. The driver fled into nearby woods.
