Mechanicsville, VA (WWBT)- Hanover and Highland Springs will clash in our On the Sidelines Game of the Week this Friday night to kick off Capital District play. Last season, the Hawks snapped a seven game slide to the Springers, and both teams are spending the week preparing hard for this match-up.
Hanover's Josh Just and Highland Springs head coach Loren Johnson were both mic'd up during practice this week as they prepare for Friday's game. Hanover is looking to improve to 4-0 and hasn't lost a regular season game since 2009. Highland Springs comes in winners of its last two games and is 2-1 on the year.
Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm on Friday night. Click on the video to see and hear more from both team's practices.
