Stabbing suspect wanted for murder

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT)-Richmond Police are looking for a suspected killer Monday morning in a deadly stabbing in Shockoe Bottom.

Officers say it all started after two men got in an argument.

The victim of the stabbing later died in the hospital and now police are on the hunt for his killer.

The stabbing happened around one Sunday morning in the 100 block of Ambler Street. This is a block up from the Farmer's Market in Shockoe Bottom.

Police say William Christian Nelson and Romoan Tolliver got into an argument. That's when the cops say Nelson stabbed Tolliver.

Officers found Tolliver in the street and he later died in the hospital.

Here's a description of William Nelson: he's 5 feet 10 inches tall, 150 pounds with short-cropped, thinning brown hair. He has a tattoo on his left arm and one on each shoulder.

Police say he is known to frequent areas where the homeless gather in the city.
