Ragweed allergies

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - Dr. Sheila Clasbey is helping many of her patients in Brandermill with ragweed allergies.

Symptoms include sinus congestion, wheezing, coughing and itchy eyes.

Stay indoors and run your air conditioner at home and in the car as much as possible to avoid the allergen.

Try an over the counter long-acting antihistamine, saline nasal rinse daily.

See your doctor if you have fevers, sinus pain or pain with breathing and shortness of breath.
