New electronic sign policy approved in Chesterfield

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT)-Chesterfield supervisors approved a new policy for electronic signs in the county.

The new rules will allow more signs to go up, but it does limit the amount of text on the sign.

According to the Times Dispatch, each ad on the electronic sign must change every 30 seconds.

Permits are still needed before any new signs go up.
