RICHMOND, VA - A person of interest in a recent homicide in the city has been located and taken into custody.
Kareem Montrell Tillar, 21, of the 200 block of Buffalo Road, Richmond, surrendered this morning to members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
Tillar has been charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
He will be questioned in the murder of Jamel Thomas Cobb, 19, of the 2500 block of Rosetta Street, Richmond. Cobb was shot last Sunday in the 2100 block of Newbourne Street, Richmond.
