RICHMOND, VA (WWBT)- Police are investigating a deadly shooting overnight in Richmond.
It is still very early in this investigation. Forensic experts are collecting evidence. Detectives are talking to witnesses so they can track down a killer.
Police identified the man as Thomas Earl Kelly, 30, of the 1600 block of North 21st Street. He was found shot in the 1900 block of Q Street about 10:30 p.m. Monday night. Kelly was transported to VCU Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Several people were outside as the forensics team searched for clues.
Police believe someone saw something or knows something about what happened. Officers say they will solve this crime.
