Seasonal allergies

HOPEWELL, VA (WWBT) - Dr. John Clay is helping people with seasonal allergies.

Ragweed counts are very high. Symptoms include runny nose, nasal congestion, watery/itchy eyes, sore throat and coughing.

Avoid things that could provoke symptoms. Wear a mask when doing work outdoors. Use over the counter allergy medications and nasal saline sprays.

See your doctor if you have persistent symptoms despite use of conservative treatment.
