With Richmond in Rear View, Drivers Look Ahead to Chase

Richmond, VA (WWBT)- The drivers that qualified to chase the Sprint Cup were at Richmond International Raceway well into the early morning hours following Saturday night's Wonderful Pistachios 400.  The 12 drivers posed for pictures with the trophy they'll all be going after and spoke about battling the other men behind the wheel.

Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch begin with a slim advantage atop the standings, with three point leads over Jeff Gordon and six points ahead of Matt Kenseth.  Kurt Busch, Jimmie Johnson, Carl Edwards and Ryan Newman will each start nine points behind the leaders, while Tony Stewart, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Brad Keselowski and Denny Hamlin will begin the Chase in a 12 point hole.

Hamlin hung onto the final wild card spot, while Harvick will go into the Chase with momentum after his checkered flag at Richmond on Saturday.  The Chase for the Sprint Cup will begin at Chicago on Sunday at 2:00 pm.
