President Obama coming to UR Friday

RICHMOND, VA - On Friday, September 9, the President will travel to the University of Richmond.  He will speak about the bipartisan proposals to grow the economy and create jobs that he laid out in his speech to a joint session of Congress on Thursday.  The President's remarks at the University of Richmond are open to pre-credentialed media and are open to ticketed members of the public.  The arrival and departure of Air Force One at Richmond International Airport are open to pre-credentialed media, but closed to the public.

Public Ticket Distribution Information:

The event is free and open to the public.  Tickets are required and will be available at the following ticket distribution location from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 8,  2011. Tickets will be limited and are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Due to limited space at the event the White House will only be able to fulfill a limited number of requests for tickets. Tickets are not for sale or re-sale.

Doors Open: 8:30 a.m.

Tickets are required for entry. Tickets can be obtained at the public ticket distribution Thursday.
