CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - Things look completely different in the Bon Air neighborhood of Chesterfield now compared to a week ago.
The street lights are working, power is back on, and anger is starting to subside. What a difference a week makes.
Almost everywhere you went in the county people were piling up debris in front of their homes.
Some dropped off the downed limbs at the landfill for free. Others complained the county wasn't helping to pick up the mess.
So now, the Board of Supervisors in Chesterfield are set to get a storm update on how things are going including details on power, damage and debris.
The meeting is set to start at 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon in the public meeting room on Iron Bridge Road.
Remember, you can still drop off your debris from the storm at any of county's drop off sites for free until this Sunday.
