RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Power crews hope to fix some south Richmond areas Wednesday.
Kenmore Street in south Richmond, near Huguenot High School, is one of the hundreds of jobs Dominion has scheduled for the day.
The past few days, crews have been out getting the lights back on at priority locations, like hospitals and police stations.
Crews expect to hit about 150 spots — smaller jobs to get the lights on for thousands of people.
The plan of attack is something that came from the impact Isabel had on the areas years ago.
Dominion says so far, the plan is working.
"They know where to go. They are much more efficient. They don't waste time idling time waiting for jobs. They know where to go and where the next job is. They know where to go after that and it improves the efficiency and gets the lights on a whole lot faster," said Dan Genest for Dominion VA Power.
Crews plan to get many of you out of the dark by the end of the day. By Friday, most you should have your lights back.
The full list of streets to get power back on should be out around 8 or 9 a.m.
As soon as we get it — we'll pass it along to you on Facebook, Twitter and online.
