LOUISA, VA (WWBT) - The 5.8-magnitude earthquake that rattled the East Coast last Tuesday continues to produce aftershocks in Louisa County.
The latest aftershock happened Tuesday morning. The U.S. Geological Survey reports that it was a 2.1-magitude aftershock.
There were also two aftershocks Monday night -- a 2.1-magnitude around 7:00pm and a 2.6-magnitude just before midnight.
The 5.8-magnitude earthquake was the strongest earthquake to strike the East Coast since World War II.
