RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Analysts expect east coast gas refineries to close by this weekend due to hurricane Irene.
The shutdowns are already boosting gasoline prices.
Refineries, mostly in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, are starting to turn off equipment and tie things down.
It could take several days or weeks to get back to full operation.
