Hopewell man wins $2.5M in Virginia Lottery

HOPEWELL, VA (WWBT) - A Hopewell man counting his blessings, all the way to $2.5 million in winnings from the Virginia Lottery.

Barry Drumheller says he was about to run out of gas after leaving a business trip near Roanoke when he pulled into a gas station in Lexington, VA.  He bought a couple scratch-off lottery tickets after filling up.  One of those tickets has made him a wealthy man.
