Chiggers can be found in woods and grassy fields.
Clean the skin vigorously with soap and water to remove the mites. Wash all clothing and towels in hot water Treat symptoms with steroid creams, calamine lotion, oral antihistamines, and cool compresses. Try not to scratch
You should see you doctor if the rash does not resolve in two weeks.
