White Rolls to Sixth Place Finish at Michigan

Brooklyn, MI (WWBT)- Richmond native Jason White has been consistently racing in NASCAR's truck series since 2007, and while he has yet to take his first checkered flag, he's putting himself on the radar for his competitors.

White finished sixth in Friday's VFW 200, his second-best finish of the season and his third top ten placing of 2011.  He moved up one spot to 15th in the truck series standings, 117 points behind leader Johnny Sauter and 46 points out of the top ten.  White finished tenth in last year's standings.

It's been a big year for the Richmond native.  White made his Sprint Cup debut at Pocono on August 7, where he finished 33rd.

White will take the track on Wednesday for the O'Reilly 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway.  Ten races remain on the truck series schedule for the 2011 season.
