RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Dr. Tania Akers-White is helping her female patients dealing with bladder infections.
She suggests drinking plenty of water to flush out bacteria. Drinking cranberry juice may also help.
Treatment usually involves an antibiotic and a medicine to numb your urinary tract and make you feel better while the antibiotic starts to work.
Beware: nausea, lower back pain and fever may be signs of a more serious kidney infection. Call your doctor if you have any of these symptoms.
