Second woman accuses Hathcock of inappropriate behavior

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A second woman is accusing the top aide to the Richmond city council president of inappropriate behavior.

Dena Fultz says she told council president Kathy Graziano last October that David Hathcock kissed her inappropriately during a meeting at her home.

She also accuses him of sending excessive emails and leaving presents at her house.

The new claims were made during a sworn deposition for a hearing scheduled on Wednesday.  City lawyers are trying to have a $500,000 civil lawsuit thrown out.

That suit claims Hathcock made inappropriate advances toward former council aide Jennifer Walle and that Graziano retaliated against Walle in the workplace.

Graziano has denied the allegations against her. In a statement about this latest incident Graziano said, "this is a private matter between two friends."

Hathcock announced his retirement, effective October 1, just one day after Fultz's name was added to the witness list in Walle's lawsuit.

Hathcock said he would not comment on a personal matter and referred all questions to his attorney.
