CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - Family and friends will come together to remember a Chesterfield teen killed near the James River this weekend.
The final touches are being put in place today for 18-year-old Osbin Hernandez-Gonzales's funeral.
The medical examiner's office confirms the teen got shot in the head. His body was found early Sunday morning in the woods off Riverside Drive.
Hernandez-Gonzales went to Meadowbrook High School, ready to start the tenth grade in the fall.
Classmates came together earlier this week for a vigil. A makeshift memorial sits at Huguenot Flatwater in his honor.
The funeral is at 2 p.m. at Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Road.
Police don't believe this killing is random.
