Inmate arrested after walking away from satellite camp prison

PETERSBURG, VA (WWBT) - The U.S. Marshals Service said Richard Wright was arrested in a Brooklyn, New York apartment around 4:30 a.m. Friday morning after receiving a tip.

Wright now faces five more years in prison.  He has been charged with federal escape.

Authorities said Wright just walked away from the non-secure Satellite Camp Prison at the Federal correctional complex in Petersburg earlier this week.

Wright was considered a minimal threat, but authorities advised caution.

He was serving time for drug charges.

Authorities are looking into if someone helped Wright escape.
