Arrests made in dog food theft from Hanover farm

HANOVER, VA - A Richmond couple has been arrested in connection with the theft of 11 large bags of dog food from a Hanover County farm that was recorded by a surveillance camera, according to the Hanover County Sheriff's Office.

Gregory Winston Jr., 28, and Jarria N. Barr, 31, both of the 300 block of Krouse Street in Richmond's Southside have been charged with grand larceny, according to authorities.

Surveilence cameras showed a man and woman were filmed taking and loading 11 large bags of Showtime dog food into a purple van July 15 shortly after 9 a.m.

Barr was arrested at her residence Sunday and Winston later turned himself in, according to the sheriff's office.
