Dinwiddie authorities seek suspect in shooting

DINWIDDIE, VA – Dinwiddie authorities seek a suspect in a shooting Thursday night.

It happened in the 25000 Block of Simmons Avenue around 7:30 last night.  The victim was shoot twice in the leg.  The victim and suspect are acquaintances.  Police say the pair got into an argument and the suspect, Shawon Beasley, pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots.

Shawon Beasley who is wanted by Dinwiddie County Sheriff's Office for malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
