CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - Chesterfield County Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred in a home in the 7500 block of Cimarron Court early Wednesday morning, according to a Chesterfield spokesperson.
Shortly after 2 a.m., police received a 911 call from a female, who reported that she and two men had been stabbed at a home in the 7500 block of Cimarron Court. Police arrived at the residence and found one man, Edwin A. Solorzano, 35, dead at the scene. The female was transported to Chippenham Hospital, where she is now in stable condition.
The second man, Felix Carrillo, 23, was transported to VCU Medical Center with an apparent self-inflicted wound. Police have obtained warrants charging Carrillo with first degree murder and malicious wounding. He will be arrested upon his release from VCU Medical Center.
Police say an apparent domestic dispute led to the stabbing. Police are not releasing the name of the female victim.
