Man dies in single car crash on Skipwith Road

HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - Monday night at 8:10 p.m., Henrico County police responded to a single vehicle crash in the 1900 block of Skipwith Road. 

The investigation revealed that a 2008 Mazda was observed driving off of the roadway and striking a brick wall.  The driver, identified as William B. White, 57, of the 7500 block of Green Gate Drive, was transported to VCU Medical Center experiencing cardiac arrest. 

He was pronounced dead at 8:51 p.m.  The female passenger was also transported to VCU Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. 

According to police, it is unknown if White experienced the cardiac arrest before or after the crash.  It is also unknown if alcohol contributed to the crash.  Additional information will be provided pending an autopsy and toxicology report.
