KING WILLIAM, VA (WWBT) - Shortly after 8 a.m. Friday, the King William Sheriff's Department got a call for a suspicious device in a mailbox on LaMae Circle in Aylett.
After investigating, King William authorities called the Virginia State Police bomb squad. It was determined to be components of a solar light.
The sheriff said there has been some vandalism recently in the area and they believe this was part of it.
