Agencies search for missing teen on Rappahannock

WARSAW, Va. (AP) - The Coast Guard, state and local agencies are searching for a 14-year-old male last seen falling from a sandbar into the Rappahannock River near Suggetts Point.

Officials say the teen who went missing Saturday is part of a Boy Scout troop spending the weekend on the river.

The Coast Guard is being joined in the search efforts by the U.S. Fish and Game, Virginia Marine Resources Commission, Richmond County Fire Rescue, Richmond County Sheriff Department, Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries and the Mattaponi Volunteer Dive Team.
