PETERSBURG, VA (WWBT) – Today we're paying it forward to a woman honored as the "tri-cities' champion for the hungry and homeless." Martha Merritt has been feeding folks for nearly 30 years. She knows what it's like not to have food, or a place to live.
As a child she lived on the streets, then in foster care. Now, she says her mission is caring for others. We made it our mission to extend a 12 on Your Side Act of Kindness.
