Sentencing continued for former school workers

HANOVER, VA (WWBT) - The sentencing for a former shop teacher and school nurse at a Hanover school was continued Monday due to a filing error.

Craig and Angela Linnon were found guilty in March of sex crimes involving students.

A number of teenagers testified at the trial about engaging in "sex acts" with the couple - with at least one case happening at the Hanover Center for Trades and Technology campus, where the couple worked.

The jury recommended a sentence of 11 years in prison for former teacher Craig Linnon and nine years for former school nurse Angela Linnon.

The sentencing has been rescheduled for August 23.
