CHICAGO (AP) - Nene dominated with 24 points, Trevor Ariza scored 18, and the Washington Wizards rallied from 13 down to beat the Chicago Bulls 102-93 in their playoff opener Sunday night. John Wall scored 16 in his postseason debut. Marcin Gortat added 15 points and 13 rebounds, and the Wizards pulled out the victory.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Denard Span hit a sacrifice fly in the ninth inning and the Washington Nationals, with Bryce Harper back in the lineup, rallied past the St. Louis Cardinals 3-2 Sunday. Harper started in left field and went 1 for 4 with his first stolen base of the season.

BOSTON (AP) - Dustin Pedroia scored from third on left fielder David Lough's throwing error with two outs in the ninth inning, lifting the Boston Red Sox to a 6-5 comback win over Baltimore Orioles on Sunday night. Jonny Gomes hit a three-run homer for the Red Sox.

MIAMI (AP) - LeBron James scored 27 points, Dwyane Wade added 23 and the Miami Heat used a late charge to beat the Charlotte Bobcats 99-88 Sunday in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference first-round series. Chris Bosh scored 13 points and James Jones had 12 for the Heat. Game 2 of the best-of-seven series is Wednesday.
