RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A Southwest Virginia man is now facing capital murder charges in the death of a woman whose daughter he allegedly abducted.
A grand jury handed down the indictment against Jeffrey Easley today.
Tina Smith, 32, was found dead in December in the Roanoke County home she shared with Easley.
There was a nationwide search for her daughter, Brittany, 12.
Brittany and Easley were found days later panhandling outside a San Francisco supermarket.
