CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - Police have arrested a man in connection with the April 22 robbery of the Food Lion at 1100 Courthouse Road.
On Friday, April 22, at about 11:30 p.m., a suspect armed with a knife forced employees, who were exiting the store, back into the business. After taking cash, the suspect put the employees into a cooler and then left the store.
John Eric Jenkins, 37, was arrested today in connection with the April 22 incident. Jenkins, of the 1400 block of Lockett Ridge Road, was charged with two counts of robbery. He is now being held without bond in the Chesterfield County Jail.
