No word on charges in Chesterfield death investigation

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - No word yet on whether charges will be filed against a Chesterfield man who police say shot and killed his neighbor's ex-boyfriend.

Gordon Ragland was shot once in the chest earlier this week.

Investigators say, Ragland and his former girlfriend got into a domestic dispute that spilled into the street.

At some point, police say the woman's neighbor got involved and ended up shooting and killing Ragland.

Police say they're working to determine if the shooting was justified.
